Beautiful Generosity

A RIPPLE IN THE WATER…. contacted Stonington Ambulance and offered support in anyway possible. After speaking with Deb who reached out from the group, it was decided that their group would donate towards our coffee station for all the volunteers. As you may have guessed, many of us tackle the coffee maker frequently in EMS. The coffee break or the quick pick me up is pretty common at the station. The group did this for us to show their genuine appreciation for helping during this time in the world of COVID-19. Our volunteers from Stonington Ambulance are very appreciative of this gesture! Also today, Marc Courtney Ainsworth stopped by our station and dropped off more wonderfully sewn masks for our volunteers. We also had masks made by the Gager Family, Sullivan Family, Suriyakham Family, Werner Family, & donations by Zack’s Bar and Grille. There are others working on different projects in the community such The COMO Makerspace who will be making face shields for First Responders. The times may have changed for awhile with some new safety practices in place like social distancing, businesses being closed, extra cleaning, wearing of masks but as we continue to all help follow these recommendations we will get through this together. As for the First Responders from Stonington, we may now meet you with a mask on our face, but remember we are still the same friendly faces you know behind the mask. We are here for you! #CommunityStrong Stay Home & Stay Safe.
